For this reason its control is of paramount importance in the prevention of losses to food producers and consequently consumers, particularly in the developing world. Chemical intervention presents one method by which it can be controlled. The purpose of this proposal is to further evaluate a series of chemical compounds to assess their effectiveness in controlling this deleterious pathogen.
