The Mindfulness Remotes are the world's first interactive wellbeing product that encourage children to take control of their own wellbeing. The remotes guide your kids through fun and engaging therapeutic activities involving balancing, deep breathing, guided meditations and more, with a companion app to gamify their experience, encouraging continued practice of wellbeing techniques that will support their mental wellbeing.

This project will support Stix Mindfulness in the development and transition to a new subscription based revenue model, enabling the company reduce the upfront hardware price for customers, lowering the barrier of entry, making it more affordable and therefore making wellbeing accessible for families in the UK. This project will also help Stix Mindfulness to streamline the manufacturing and assembly process; we will review our electronic design to assess where we can make cost savings per unit, whilst streamlining the end-to-end assembly process to improve efficiency and the products end-of-life process.

**Product Subscription -** This project will support Stix Mindfulness in introducing a subscription service to their product offering. Innovation will be seen in the firmware development of the product, which will enable over-the-air audio to be synced from customers' phones, meaning the product content (audio based mindfulness activities) is updateable.

**Streamlining Manufacture -** Through a hardware review and redesign, we will identify components that can be replaced for more cost effective pieces. Furthermore, we will streamline the assembly process by moving it away from our current in-house assembly line. Over-the-air audio syncing, a development in the product subscription, will help us reduce our product manufacturing and assembly time as products will not need to be pre-loaded with audio. Circular economy principles will ensure easy repair services are available to customers at the products end-of-life.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
