Bernard Wilkinson, Director of Lock and Go Limited is an outstanding engineer previously engaged in his own innovative business (now sold) and the Coal Industry, where he brought numerous technological innovations into being. Bernard has now designed and produced (in pre-prototype form) a portable, robust solution that enables the user to secure any door against unauthorised entry.

The lock can be fixed alongside any other locking mechanism, or where there is no lock, and to either side of a door. In this way it secures a door and can be also used to turn any internal room into a “safe-room” e.g. turning a bathroom into a safe haven for valuables within a hotel room. The lock also allows easy access from within should a person remain in the room which the door is locked from the outside.

Clearly there are strong benefits to society in reducing personal crime, economic benefit in lowering insurance liabilities, in creating jobs in the production and distribution of the product and in public benefit from growth in generated turnover, profits, taxable income and employment.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
