Supported by personal femtocells in the workplace and home and by personal cloud computing network proxy elements for each user, a cross-platform (computer / mobile ) QoS multi-media services can be managed and offered within the testbed. The testbed will also provide a services licensing and fees clearance framework between customers and software vendors offering services over the demonstrator network. The project will deliver: * an open digital services testbed centered around femtocell-oriented quality multimedia delivery supported by personal network node services and their use on a number of end-user platforms (mobile phones / laptops / desktops); *the management of seamless transition between different types of broadband connectivity (GPRS, EDGE, HDUPA, HSDPA, fixed broadband Femtocell) that will be available to software developers and users of the testbed; * a set of high-level Software Kits for mobile and computer development on the testbed network; * a business model for Test Bed launch enabling end-to-end value chain; * a test bed Developer Portal: Development of main tested portal for service developers and user registration, terms and conditions (legals); * a test bed Service Deployment Framework: a framework for launching testbed services for a number of end-user platforms.; * a testbed network Service Payment Gateway – enabling clearance of transactions between users and application (service) vendors; * Pilot test service provisioning and deployment; * Support and Operational Frameworks for Phase II of the project and testbed launch; The project consortium partners include Bubblephone (an IP network performance company), Private Planet (personal cloud computing provider), Coast Networks (a local Internet Service Provider with an existing SME user base) and Xtra Media (a software developer) to create an end-to-end value chain for personal network proxy services and quality femtocell and other mobile broadband content and service delivery. O2 (mobile network) will be used as subcontractor. The testbed will be opened and marketed to other end-users and other software vendors in Phase 2.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
