It will use the most affordable, up to date and accessible computer technology to create made to measure garments at an affordable price using fabric saved from land fill or locally sourced e.g. Harris tweed. There is six main stages to this project Stage 1 : Through an online platform customers shall select the link to the 3d avatar generator tool. Once they have clicked on the link they will be informed on how to take two pictures of themselves Stage 2: I will convert this data into an accurate digital avatar using my 3d design software. This data shall not be shared and all GDPR rules shall be followed. Stage 3: On the online platform the customer shall choose the item of clothing or pattern that they would like created to their exact measurements e.g. skirt, trousers, jacket and the material that they would like it made from. Stage 4: I shall then create the sewing pattern and fit the garment onto the avatar ensuring a perfect fit Stage 5: At this point I shall either send the customer the sewing pattern with making instructions or the garment shall then be made by myself or a local tailor out of 'calico' and sent to the client to ensure the correct fit and changes shall be made if needed. Stage 6: The tech pack with the sewing pattern, instructions and fabric shall then be sent to the tailor and the garment will be created and sent directly to client. Along with sewing pattern if requested. These items will initially be made by experienced seamstresses/tailors but eventually will be made under supervision and training through a 'back to work' community programme.
