Using plastics as a feedstock to create chemicals for industries that are heavily reliant on virgin petrochemicals has a two-fold benefit of 1) unlocking value from plastics that were previously discarded as waste, and 2) decreasing the chemicals industry's reliance on virgin petrochemicals, and thereby reducing its carbon footprint</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
