The potential of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) materials being used by terrorist organisations is ever present and increases as the ability to acquire them becomes easier. However, in the event of a CBRN incident, there is no existing forensic technique that can assist the MoD with full provenance intelligence through the recovery and isolation of valuable trace evidence. Forensic Access has developed an automated trace searcher that can improve the existing tape lift method and be adaptable to the confines of a glovebox.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
