Indeed, training both healthcare professionals and patients is key to improving patient outcomes. Patients will learn about key aspects of diagnosis, treatments and medical reasoning, whilst healthcare professionals will learn what patients feel is important about their experiences with healthcare across Europe. Hence this project provides a paradigm shift in healthcare education.

Building on successes in BP2020 & BP2021, the top-ranked SmashMedicine project, will educate citizens by promoting an empathetic and shared approach to medical treatment. Patients and students will learn from each other, using novel pedagogical approaches, EdTech and AI to deepen symbiotic learning for citizens across the continent.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
