Wastewater is a valuable data source indicating the health of the community, and has been used over the past year to detect COVID outbreaks before clinical cases emerge and to geographically target the UK lockdowns. However, wastewater analysis is currently labour intensive and slow, with samples being manually processed off-site. We are revolutionising wastewaters surveillance by bringing detection to the wastewater in an automated workflow. In this project, we request funding to run our first field deployments, specifically looking at integrating the data into the workflows of our potential customers and generating use cases that highlight the value and actionability of this real-time data which has not been previously available.
