Currently, there is a great degree of variability in the beef supply chain. This is largely due to a lack of consistent and accurate data collection and subsequent analysis leading to unacceptably high disease levels, poor business performance, and huge variability in product quality.

The consortium proposes to radically drive agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability within the beef supply chain. The solutions developed in this project will allow the consortium to be a first mover in the UK and indeed globally. These solutions will involve multiple interventions across multiple segments of the supply chain.
