Ventures, cloud.IQ are delivering on a mission to help SMEs grow their online sales by
making previously complex and expensive marketing tools available through bite-sized-apps.
In short we help grow online sales with higher margins at reduced costs.
The proposed innovation (“tailoredMarketing”) for online retailers turns marketing on it’s
head by focusing first on available stock and profit margin to drive marketing activity. It then
takes online behavioural insight and past purchasing behaviour to personalise email
advertising, publish google adWord groups and product feeds for listings such as google
shopping. In short it synchronises the highest margin and available stock items to the lowest
cost channel of advertising. By contrast, today, stock control and marketing systems are not
integrated and it is a human task to assess marketing priorities based on stock, marginality and
then execution. As a manual task today merchants frequently find themselves responding
reactively to excess stock with discounts.
The U.K. is the world's most developed market for e-commerce, based on e-commerce sales as
a percentage of GDP and it’s the largest exporter. It is the ideal market to develop the
proposed solution.
Cloud.IQ has a track record of delivering innovative technology, particularly for SMEs. We
believe ‘“tailoredMarketing”’ is a break-through technology for e-commerce and that we are
in the right market to develop it and devise a plan to exploit it globally. Today, cloud.IQ’s
Apps focus on conversion rate optimization, converting website browsers to buyers. We
believe this innovation will enable cloud.IQ to continue to grow and is a logical step up from
the services that we already provide. This prototype will help us to employ more local talent
