This project is endeavouring to design to a high end technical and aesthetic standard, ultimately making the MOD x structure a visionary flexible space. The space will be capable of holding a variety of functions: namely art galleries, fashion shows, parties, events, club nights, restaurants, installations and brand launches to name a few. The genesis of this concept was the opportunity to provide an ever-changing and flexible space capable of mutating form and aesthetic appropriate to its function. The constant and organic changes that this space enjoys give the audience a ubiquitous venue, which constantly excites and is never familiar. The re-launch potential of such a venue creates a sweeping wave of anticipation/ excitement which other venues and clubs fail to enjoy. The design ambition of this venture is paramount in launch- ing a new era of event spaces. The MOD x design team is made up of pioneering architects, structural engineers and acousticians that will push the boundaries in spatial and acoustic design. MOD x is difficult to compare to anything that currently exists on the market. An event space of this calibre has yet to be implemented in the UK. The USP for MOD x is its flexibility and sound cancellation techniques, informed by pioneerng architectural and structural design.
