We propose to use supercapacitors for this, providing a continuous output of 5 kW per unit; once proven modular scale-up of the technology will provide far larger outputs. Successful delivery of this project will increase the UK's standing at the forefront of smart grid technologies and will improve the efficiency of the grid, while generating revenues and job opportunities for ourselves.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
