Traditional aligners (the majority of which used within the UK are manufactured abroad) have a limitation in their design that results in increased anaerobic bacteria in the mouth. This bacteria can slowly erode away at the enamel of your teeth during treatment and cause years of damage.

Space Dental, headquartered in Wakefield, are seeking to further validate a concept to address this issue and establish a UK based manufacturing site for aligners that are made through a sustainable supply chain, have much reduced levels of damage to teeth and create over 95 jobs within the region.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
