QR markers placed in physical locations are scanned to load a web app that delivers content including generative AI video via augmented reality - overlaying content in the real world. We have sourced an initial location, which would run across 14 physical locations and would connect with a person of local and cultural importance. Through generative voice and video AI we will seek to bring to life this person's story and experience of living in this area. This makes a direct connection to the place around the user and uses interactive and engaging content to bring history to life.

Our aim is to use creative digital technology to encourage physical activity (walking) with education in a fun way that benefits local tourism and creative sector. Using gamification users check off markers as they go, opening opportunities for corporate sponsorship or community interest groups to sustain the project beyond the initial year. We see a broad demographic for the project, from young people to cultural explorers and casual destination visitors.

The technology creates ways for people to connect with spaces in engaging ways.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
