Intervate is well placed to generate CHP from gasification of mill rejects to reduce mill gas costs and waste disposal costs. The work helps Intervate understand the quantities, composition and fuel value and requirements for fuel clean up and conditioning for gasification. The project meets mill interests to divert rejects from landfill to energy to meet circular economy thinking.
