It uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 1-2-1 human specialist support to improve health and wellbeing, available to 7m NHS patients and in over 100 countries.

For this project, we will develop the app to support two crucial women's life stages: fertility and menopause.

**The need**

Every year, 1-in-7 UK couples struggle to conceive, causing anxiety/stress. Meanwhile, 13m women have perimenopause and menopause; one-third-of them experience anxiety, depression, along with other symptoms, some of them severe.

Most of the affected women work, but their fertility and menopause-related health problems can cause reduced productivity and absenteeism, with some quitting work altogether.

NHS support can vary, with long waiting times, while employee health benefits (via telehealth solutions) are typically expensive and reach a small number of professional women.

**What we will do**

Our team of software engineers, AI/Machine Learning specialists, designers and clinicians will jointly develop innovation, content and support around fertility and menopause. They will be led by Anya's female founder, a first-generation immigrant and a Oscar/BAFTA award winner turned entrepreneur, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of all women, regardless of background.

The project will be run in stages, conducting product R&amp;amp;D for both health areas. The app will be developed using three types of AI (supervised, sentiment, generative), providing 24/7 evidence-based information/support and personalised companionship. Each product shares four pillars (plus a reproductive journey specific tracking and analysis component):

* Anya AI, a human expert enabled, evidence-based chatbot for interactive 24/7 support
* Tailored content and personalised programmes
* 1-2-1 video consultations, expert webinars, and virtual drop-ins
* Virtual communities for peer-support.

Because we already have a successful app on the market, we will translate our successful AI-powered model from pregnancy/parenting to menopause and fertility. The product/service be highly scalable and costs 5-10 times less than telehealth solutions.

**Next steps**

By the end of this project, we'll have developed and incrementally released the **1_st_** **one-stop-shop AI-powered, 24/7, women's health product** to market. Our research with private sector employers has validated demand for a 'one stop shop' for women's health, which Anya will be able to offer.

We'll target employers in diverse sectors with a strong focus on Equality Diversity &amp;amp; Inclusion, to reach all ethnicities and socio-economic groups. We'll also target insurance and cash plan providers to provide AI-powered 24/7 support to their PMI members.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
