In addition to the original project, the market have the desire for a solar/battery operated version of our project which will be developed as part of this extension. The solar/battery version will be utilised in road works both temporary and semi permanent and may even extend to inter-urban routes (motorways) where long term schemes are being implemented. 

Battery/solar offerings of radar-based traffic data collection devices with this level of accuracy are almost nonexistent. Our appeal will be as a ‘single family’ of compatible, seamless technology regardless of whether infrastructure powered or battery powered.

Readily available rich traffic data to planners to allow better control and management of traffic in routes around towns and cities thus ultimately reducing journey times, congestion and associated reduction in traffic pollution and overall improvement to the environment.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
