Our Smart-Health-Check is designed to fill this exact capability gap in the UK's financial armoury by harnessing cutting edge technology to overcome the problem is processing financial advisory outcomes and matching a client's exact needs with their circumstances.

The Independent-financial-advisory--sector is critically important to the financial wellbeing of the UK as it imparts essential support to help protect both individual & family finances. According to an FCA report on the advice gap, some 5M people use IFA services each year and whilst there remains a total serviceable market of nearly 20M people, the industry remains technologically poor, maintains high operational costs, low profit-margins and large service fees -- as such many are priced out of receiving much needed financial planning for those that are seeking to develop, consolidate or tweak their protections, mortgage, pensions and investment portfolios.

Formulation of long-term holistic financial advice for retail clients is a challenging problem and many different factors should be taken into account: rates of growth of investments, inflation, interest rates, unexpected life events, as well as the client aims & objectives.

The normal advisory approach would be for the use of human-developed simulations to predict any number of 'observables/outcomes' which quantify the achievability of the client's financial objectives and facilitate the formulation of the holistic advice. In many cases these simulations would be run many times with changed/randomised input parameters in order to arrive to an acceptable solution. To obtain reliable and high-quality advice however, large numbers of simulations should be run, and each simulation is not only complex but time-consuming in order to reflect the client situation realistically. In short, the traditional model of client financial strategizing is considered to be reliable but slow and resource consuming. As a result, such service is quite expensive and largely available only to wealthier clients.

The purpose of the Digital-Financial-Health-Check is to resolve by building a system that will predict client's outcomes reliably but at a much-increased speed and at a significantly decreased cost whilst helping to overcome the cost-of-living crisis. This will increase the client experience & allow for quicker and more accurate advice, maximise the time with a human-adviser as well as help to make holistic financial-advice available to all.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
