Carl Hopkins, Managing Director has been involved with recycled plastic waste for over 18 years and through Garden Drainage UK Ltd he has successfully brought successfully to market a recycled plastic modular drainage panel used in gardens and sports field environments.

This R&D activity follows extensive research and early-stage trials, where the perfect recipe for success has now been closed in on.

However, manufacturing a recycled plastic product is extremely challenging and is not a trivial task, specialist expertise has been identified for this final push.

Upon success, over 16 million gardeners across the UK stand to benefit, when inadequately draining soil in their garden is replaced with their unique panel, this issue is more common you might think, and generally due to native heavy clay/soil types.

The team at GDUK are excited about the impact of this project, as it will make important contributions to the UK economy, Net-Zero targets, circular markets, environment and society, with the potential to divert 8026 tonnes of UK plastic waste from landfill, and the same weight in CO2e net carbon offset.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
