After speaking to customers, typically parents of children, it became clear that support for mental health is hard to access - typical NHS waiting times are 16 weeks+, private therapy is very expensive, and products/apps on the market are not designed for children's user needs, meaning engagement and continuity is relatively low.

This project is about bringing further innovation to Stix as a company. We want our business to be more than a hardware business alone - we want to develop a platform with different levels of support for children and parents to ensure that children can reach their full potential, by making wellbeing fun, affordable and accessible for everyone impacted by mental health and wellbeing issues.

We will follow a user centred design approach, following a process of research, ideation, development and commercialisation, we will develop ideas based off user insights, and test them to ensure they resonate and are tailored to our audience's needs.

By completing this project and building a roadmap for future product development, we will be developing a new business strategy as we look to turn our business into a wellbeing brand, rather than being seen as a single solution hardware/software company. This will comprise a major step change in our growth ambitions into a viable innovative, ever-improving business.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
