metal decking (flooring) to examine the potential for structural roofing.
The new model will allow detailed analysis of current “consistent” structural roofing designs,
to ascertain their suitability for the more demanding structures.
Furthermore, a new concept will be developed looking at form and function with a remit to
provide enhanced structural integrity, more cost effective solutions and a more
environmentally sensitive approach.
Both shallow and deep roof profiles will be investigated and developed to a validated and
certified status.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
