For organisations this means identifying more effective customer contact strategies including voice biometrics.
VoxGen and its partner, Mydex propose to enhance the traditional approach to voice biometrics by adding a second factor to the verification process; personal knowledge. This requires us to develop a statistically rigorous probabilistic reasoning system to combine these two incongruent data points. No one has actually done and tested this concept properly until now. Our success would lead to higher security, greater robustness of application, and a significantly easier-to-use customer experience.
VoxGen and Mydex will provide access to real-world customers who can be the test subjects to provide the rigorous test strategy and perform the tests that will ensure the accuracy and validity of the results. The final project deliverables will be a tested algorithm; a report on the results of user testing; and an exploitation plan.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
