Spotting a gap in the market, Coach Logic originally targeted ambitious amateur teams and educational organisations. After being approached by West Ham Utd we created a bespoke element for them called the Private Video Feature. They recognised that the simplicity of our video analysis feature made it possible for their Academy players to be directly involved in the analysis of their own performance. We now have their Under 9s through their U21s using the system. We then started to work with larger sporting organisations and have just developed a range of tools for the Scottish Rugby Union and are in the process of building a Coach Mentoring platform for SportScotland. The area we keep being asked about is Cricket. We currently supply hockey teams throughout Europe and in Australia. Hockey and Cricket teams generally share venues and so word of mouth has meant we are starting to get approached by Cricket clubs on a regular basis. Much of our current platform works for Cricket but as it is a very different team sport to the likes of Football, Rugby and Hockey we will need to create some specific video analysis and management features. This is where Nelogix comes in! Their founder and CEO Dewald Nel is heavily involved in Cricket at an international standard and so we feel it is the perfect fit for us moving forward. Getting funding for this project would give us the opportunity to sell to Cricket clubs around the world, as well as sporting institutions that support various sports, ie Universities or Local Authorities."
