The Internet has transformed the ability for creators to collaborate and distribute their content across geographies and time zones. Games, films, music and visual content are now frequently created iteratively by groups of online collaborators and shared directly with consumers through social media or online distribution platforms. The absence of an equivalent transformation in the way that value flows back to creators from consumers, however, represents a missed opportunity worth an estimated $11bn every year. This collaboration between Blokur, The Digital Catapult and the UK Games Fund will develop blockchain-based technologies to facilitate low friction interactions between creators and their customer and unlock new value in the creative ecosystem.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
