We help people find creative outlets with technology, using technology for expression, like a sculptor artist might use clay. We do this through developing networks and creative content that people can engage with in localised community settings. Our vision is to bring creative arts practice to computing education across the UK to transform the diversity of the creators of technology, and the relevance of the technology itself. This project is about scaling up the network of arts-education up Control Shift provide, from Bristol to across the South Coast. Their solution already changes the way that people learn about computing and technology. And with this funding they will be able to create a network for training artists, university staff and students, and educators that will become a team of creative tech-arts educators using our unique pedagogical approach (multiplying the impact).
