The new ingredient has the potential to significantly enhance the productivity of aquaculture in the UK. It will be safe, locally-sourced and produced with a substantially lower carbon impact than imported feeds.

R&D work to establish this new business activity will help develop Jonas Seafood into one of the foremost Circular Economy food technology business within the Eastern England cluster. Aquaculture studies will show that the new feed ingredient contains nutritional components that are important to the healthy development of commercially important fish. A feed ingredient hub for the UK, based in North Norfolk, will meet future market demand for an important new aquaculture feed ingredient.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
