Our specific objective is to harness this technical innovation to deliver functionality and services normally associated with high end smartphones to the mass market of feature phone users in developing countries. These individuals constitute the largest segment of mobile users (c.4bn). For most of them their mobile phone is their only access to digital information and entertainment. With the rapid take up of data connections in places such as India, Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria… the infrastructure to provide the next generation of services is in place.
