10090819Professional Aviation Photographers GalleryClosedInvestment AcceleratorInnovate UKThe project develops a world leading platform, specifically designed for the professional and semi-professional aviation photographer. Using a "build once" approach, this photographic gallery will deliver an app-based gallery for Android, iOS and for desktop computers. It will provide photographers with their own page and interfaces with Facebook and other social media platforms, including LinkedIn, to seamlessly post the images too. Each member will be able to have their own app, showing just their photographs, but still be part of the larger gallery. This pioneering concept is a core part of the USP for the gallery. Throughout the project, we will embrace the UK Government's 'user driven design' vision by creating user groups where photographer will be involved in shaping the platform design at every level. The project will also be focused on key parts of the Horizons Toolkit 2018\. As part of the "Unlocking Potential" grant the gallery will be run with a foundational focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity. NFT technology will be used to allow photographers to secure their images and sell them via our online store and profit from any resales of the images. The pilot version will be ready for July 2024 and the final version released October 1\. Longe term, the IP protected gallery model, has the potential to be used for other photographic sectors and potentially out photography as well.
