750005Bioactive nutraceuticals from seaweed (NUTRALGA)ClosedVouchersInnovate UKKeracol Limited (KL) is developing novel and green techniques to extract and isolate natural polysaccharides from British seaweeds and to utilise these extracts in nutraceutical applications for health benefits, particularly lowering bad cholesterol for cardiovascular benefits. We require a collaboration with an academic body to research formulation methods for the various polysaccharides into consumer-acceptable vehicles, and ascertain the performance of the products in vitro and in palatability assessments.
