These sensors, incorporated in low-cost electronics, will make personalised recommendations on hydration and electrolyte accessible to the public. Additionally, the same process can be used to implement other exiting sensor opportunities in the field of medicine and personalised health care.

Flowbio is using the suppport it has received from UKRI, Innovate UK's fast start programme to lease, purchase, setup and trial a small to medium scale manufacturing line to produce large quantities of reliable and reproducible sensors. The system is modular and will be repurposed in large-scale production facilities to drive the development of low-cost and high-end sensor technology in the future.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
