These reality within a virtual reality bespoke sustainable marketing experiences will reduce the time and costs associated with traditional corporate travel decision making processes, increasing the inclusivity of the experience for stakeholders, improving accessibility and showcasing the art of the possible.

Through using immersive 360 and 180 3D video in second hand VR headsets which facilitates a circular economy, closed loop pathway for these devices, we intend to develop a content-rich experience through the existing proven software interface. We aim to reduce the need for event organisers to visit multiple venues by providing bespoke VR sessions that help inform decisions in advance of real-life travel. We will prove that these immersive tours improve the real-life experience, whilst also showcasing the specific sustainable options available to them in region. For example, a coffee at your local organic farm, the potential to ride your bike across Warwickshire to explore the landscapes and hikes available, or the ability to catch an electric bus around Coventry instead of driving.

With a pilot project already completed within the film industry, where only 2 farms were visited of a potential 65, we will showcase how immersive VR can not only promote a place, but improve knowledge retention, deliver health and safety and security briefings when required at a venue, and improve awareness of local community engagement.

Focussing on Coventry and Warwickshire, through our Film Warwickshire and CAST (City as Studio) initiatives which aim to deliver support services to promote and increase the amount of media and event production in the area, we believe that we can integrate these VR experiences into sustainable business screen tourism, hospitality and creative technology.

Through this funding grant, we aim to create the largest digital location library of bespoke 360 video content in the UK, extensively capturing the places, venues and areas of SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) that Coventry and Warwickshire has to offer. This digital library will help drive discovery, adoption and ongoing exploratory use of this type of platform which will help local, regional and national organisations to promote the region's portfolio of spaces.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
