These people would benefit most from the convenience of online shopping, with mobility the most-reported impairment, followed by "stamina, breathing, fatigue" (House of Commons Library, 2023). Impairments make it harder to shop in-person for essential goods, as well as specialist healthcare aids/items.

Equipmii is an AI-driven digital shopping platform for people with physical impairments. An intuitive digital marketplace will provide personalised product recommendations, with all items pre-validated by healthcare professionals.

Equipmii is founded by Claire Given, a serial entrepreneur who herself has a physical impairment. Her own experiences of struggling with the frustrating experience of current online shopping sites led her to found the company.

Claire has 20 years of experience across mentoring ("Pioneers for Change"), running EDI programmes (Bupa) , engaging children/young people in STEM (ESA, Raspberry Pi Foundation), and developing exercise equipment for people with upper limb difficulties (Limbalance, successfully exited 2023).

Equipmii is focussed on the £2.4bn UK opportunity within the £180bn "Worldwide services for elderly/disabled". Equipmii will break-even by 2026, expanding to 1m end-users and generating £35m revenue via 1,015 customers by 2028\.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
