Delivered by market leaders in innovator support, the accelerators will support high potential businesses in the women's health and medical device spaces.

The programme will be led by the Health Innovation Network South London (HIN), who will deliver Late Stage: Accelerating FemTech. The London Institute of Healthcare Engineering (LIHE) of King's College London will deliver the MVK. The accelerators will be delivered with the support of national partners, including Health Innovation Networks across England and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

The HIN and LIHE are well known for delivering a variety of innovator support and accelerator programmes including the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator, King's MedTech Accelerator and the Mindset XR programme (Innovate UK funded). HIN also has experience of delivering programmes for earlier-stage women's health companies.

Building upon the previous work of the national Innovate UK earlier stage accelerators, these new venture builder accelerators will each support up to 10 later-stage companies with innovative solutions to healthcare problems. Participating companies will have validated their proof of concept, have some initial evidence, a cross functional leadership team, and be advancing towards market entry. The new programmes will focus on preparing companies to undertake regulatory planning, clinical validation, a Health Technology Assessment or other health economics analysis. The programmes will also include support around investment readiness. Both programmes will offer a short programme of education and training with additional bespoke support to develop companies with high potential for market entry and patient impact.

The accelerators will work collaboratively to share learning, benefit from collective expertise, deliver learning sessions and showcase innovators.

**Late Stage: Accelerating FemTech** programme will recruit up to 10 innovative companies focused on addressing women's health needs from across the UK. On starting the accelerator, companies will undergo baseline testing to ensure that knowledge and skill levels are understood from the outset, and that company-specific support is offered over 4 months. Weekly curriculum sessions will be delivered online with the cohort coming together for regular in-person networking and learning opportunities. The curriculum and event offerings will be supplemented by a bespoke action plan created with a dedicated Business Coach, and regular check-ins with an assigned mentor. Alongside company, product and personal development, networking with relevant clinical, academic and commercial experts will be provided to support and prepare late-stage companies for future funding and investment, with the aim of driving economic growth. The impact of this programme will lead to improvements in women's health and will positively impact the health and care system in the UK, and potentially globally.

The **MedTech Venture Kickstarter (MVK)** is a 4-month, intense, structured programme for up to ten late-stage, ground-breaking MedTech companies. The MVK guides the most transformational MedTech breakthroughs through to clinical validation and the market by leveraging LIHE's expertise in regulation, reimbursement, clinical pathways, and fundraising. The MVK leverages partnerships with industry, experts, the NHS and ecosystems to accelerate clinical and commercial validation and remove roadblocks to successful clinical adoption and commercial scaling.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
