We aim to save huge amounts of costs wasted through inefficient operation across industries including Oil &amp;amp; Gas, Chemicals and Manufacturing. The technological explosion of industrial sensors and the progress in connecting industrial machines in a cloud-based environment (industrial Internet of Things) enabled the acquisition of various types of information in real-time, examples are ERP data and sensor data. The computational power has increased with the use of cloud computing. Flexciton will integrate these technologies and use large amounts of industrial data to develop the optimal operation and maintenance schedules of complex industrial plants. This method is enabled by the progress in the above technologies and it is expected to save tens of millions of pounds for large industrial users annually.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
