The decline of physical retail is not just a problem for landlords and retailers. Ultimately it poses a significant question for local authorities and the general public. If high streets and retail destinations fail to remain vibrant/relevant, both the public realm and the local consumer market will ultimately suffer.

Regional Municipalities in Turkey are eager to revitalise the cities and achieve lasting change. Turkey represents a large market of countries that are very recently changing their retail methods, re-imagining public spaces, changing their own unique forms of high streets, and going through heavy urbanization. This change represents an opportunity for Radius to test the feasibility of its already existing Location-Intelligence solution and pave the way for Radius to expand not only to Turkey but to similar emerging markets.

This project will improve Radius-AI capabilities and launch the Location Intelligence Platform (progressing from TRL-7-to-TRL-9) into the international market. Building resilience by operational-optimization and marginal-improvements is key for overcoming market barriers and drawing further investment to continue opening the platform to other emerging markets.

The costs associated with final-stage R&D and the initial product-rollout, relative to the product's potential benefits present a clear case for value for money. As a unique and innovative product Radius holds the opportunity to be the number one solution provider in emerging markets as a key disruptive technology from the UK. This extends the added-value to UK businesses and investors who are looking for international expansion. The solution will have the capability to recommend which international markets are more suitable for expanding sales operations of UK FMCG and fashion brands. Also, real-estate investors looking to invest in value shopping-centres in emerging markets will be able to get more reliable estimations on their ROI as Radius will possess insights on regional market-dynamics - leading to value-creation and jobs for UK businesses.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
