Autism symptoms starts in early childhood. Effective early-years interventions can make significant difference to children's lives and prospects.

Despite the crucial need for early diagnosis, official data shows that people with autism referrals wait many months, often years, before they are assessed. Delayed diagnosis affects access to care and effective early interventions. Research showed it leads to mental and physical health problems, social exclusion and shorter lives.

In this project, I address this challenge by developing an experimental proof-of-concept for an innovative product to identify children with high likelihood of autism diagnosis. This can help healthcare services prioritise children with higher needs, and accelerate children's access to effective interventions.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
