Current manufacturing technologies require products be over-formulated to achieve their performance specifications, and are relatively high in use of energy, with significant footprint. There is a yet unmet need for the introduction of innovative process equipment into the supply chain to address those deficiencies. This project will address that need via the development of a retrofittable mixing technology based on recent discoveries at the &amp;quot;Ultra Mixing and Process Facility&amp;quot; at University of Liverpool. Such a development will offer manufacturers of “structured liquids” products and process equipment opportunities for radical innovation which will strongly enhance competitiveness and resource efficiency (less material, alternative material, better energy efficiency).</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
