Our simple technologies are making it easier and faster to get a prosthesis fit to you than ever before.

Typically, amputees must wait several weeks over several visits to a clinical facility to obtain their prosthetic leg. The long wait times slow down rehabilitation and can be discouraging for patients. What is worse, is that small mistakes can make this process even slower and more painful. Amparo is committed to providing simple solutions that lead to more efficient care with better outcomes. We use high tech composites to build world-class prostheses. Our unique materials allow us to fit the product directly to the user and our innovative tool set achieves a perfect fit anytime, anywhere (even in the patients home), in only one visit!

This project is focused on new innovative fitting tools (socket and shape capturing of the residual limb) that can give every amputee the optimal device fit every time. Our approach is to study the fitting tools and techniques in a clinical setting. Our research will centre on the patient experience and outcomes. Our learnings will help us to bring new innovative products to market that changes lives for the better.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
