10119651PivotClosedCollaborative R&DInnovate UKPivot is a social enterprise that, for the past four years, has taken creative employment opportunities into homeless hostels, teaching people how to design, make and sell jewellery. Working with people experiencing homelessness, our innovative and accessible method of making jewellery is suitable to be made at someone's desk in a homeless shelter, acting as a solution to high unemployment and low engagement rates in temporary accommodation. Pivot's project with Innovate UK will allow us to expand our innovative employment programmes into Housing Associations, taking on a preventative role by pioneering engaging and creative programmes which get people into meaningful employment.
