GO-Truck fleet operator ContainerShips will run a total of 20 dual fuel vehicles side by side with diesel counterparts, using LNG from a new, public access fuelling station at its base in Teesport. Technology partner G-volution will use the project as a test bed for its innovative dual fuel solution fitted to MAN trucks.
With 25% of UK greenhouse gas emissions coming from transport, and a third of those from freight operations, the need is pressing. As diesel prices continue to rise, no operator can ignore the need to investigate cost saving alternative fuels. GO-Truck will provide the data to allow operators to make an informed choice, and communicate that information pro-actively throughout the industry.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
