On top of that, nearly a third of people seeking to lose weight also have problematic eating patterns like binge eating or emotional eating which can contribute to weight gain and can negatively affect individuals' mental health.

Holly Health, an established health coaching app for sustainable physical and mental health which already supports \>30,000 across \>200 NHS GP practices, will innovate beyond its current service to provide a first-of-its-kind mindfulness-based and intuitive eating feature to support individuals to improve their relationship with food, and overcome common problematic eating behaviours.

The 12-month project will involve using user-centered methods to design an interactive hunger-fullness scale paired with intelligent nudges, a coaching chatbot using Large Language Models (LLMs) and an educational programme with accessible articles, videos and voice recordings.

We will evaluate the effectiveness and acceptability of the innovation through focus groups, semi-structured interviews and assessment of health outcomes after a user deployment, making sure to maintain equality, diversity and inclusion among participants.

A significant goal of this project is also to inspire and support other female innovators from minority backgrounds to develop their ideas and create impact in important societal challenges.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
