The lead partner, TEO Limited, a Bristol-based SME, will use a new technology called Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) to generate incredibly realistic and detailed images.

The project will produce a prototype product called NERFIE, which will be based on system designs that define the hardware and software elements required for a complete end-to-end workflow solution.

The project will start by reviewing the state-of-art developments in this rapidly evolving research area and evaluating existing solutions. This will be followed by market research with potential end-users and customers to understand their specific workflow process requirements and desirable product features. A simple yet efficient workflow will then be produced and a proof-of-concept demonstration will be implemented. A final report will summarize the project's findings and include a detailed specification and roadmap for the NERFIE product.

The project aims to make it easier and faster for creators and developers to create realistic 3D worlds for AR/VR experiences and open new business opportunities beyond entertainment, gaming, and sports in areas such as digital twins, surveying, training, real estate, and healthcare.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
