Augmented-reality (AR) Head-Up-Display (HUD) technology offers a potential solution by providing essential driving information without diverting attention. However, current HUD systems have a significant drawback in visual adjustment time which poses safety risks, particularly for older drivers (upto 1 sec).

This project, a collaboration between JLR and Lark Optics, aims to set a global standard for HUD technology, prioritising driver safety and customer experience. This project aims to industrialise and commercialise an innovative technology that is on the verge of changing the global visual display industry and that can enhance the inclusion and wellbeing of its users significantly.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
