These data visualisations can then be embedded into reports, stories and dashboards to build powerful, real-time narratives of impact.

However, there is still a knowledge gap that exists with most community sport organisations on SportFin in terms of how they can leverage the data visualisations to indicate that they are effectively achieving their targets or in terms of how they can use this data and the data visualisations to write reports for specific funding bodies (we currently service this through consultancy).

The aim of this project is to assess if we can build a generative AI solution to bridge this knowledge gap and automate the manual consultancy process - saving costs for our customers and making SportFin's product more scalable. We can train a natural language processing model to interpret data on SportFin, enriched with open government data and survey data, plus a corpus of academic research on the social impact/value of sport, to create a feature that turns 'text prompts' to 'chunks of data analysis, visualisations and research snippets' - automating impact report writing tasks for our customers and saving costs on consultancy for them.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
