It stores flat against a wall, and you can take it with you anywhere, never worrying about storage or theft. Compared to existing folding bikes, we're half the size, 10x faster to fold, and far easier to roll along when folded. BriefBike will fight climate change and respiratory disease; help people get active; and make our cities socially connected places where we move past each other at a human level. Electric cars alone can't solve these problems. We need to find more efficient and healthy ways to move around our cities. We believe that BriefBike is the answer -- an e-bike you can conveniently keep with you, ready to ride whenever you feel like it. BriefBike makes it more practical and appealing to travel by bike. Working with experts in design and manufacturing, we're creating a series of demonstrator bikes that we can test with real users. Thousands of people have already signed up for these tests. Despite the cost of living crisis, or perhaps because of it, people continue to buy ever-more bikes for transport. Currently, the UK produces less than 0.5% of the 20 million bikes sold in Europe annually, and it's not that they're all made in Asia, 76% are produced in the EU. We're working with automotive and aerospace component manufacturers in the UK to produce our bikes using modern, automated and scalable methods. The time is right for the UK to lead the most rapidly growing transport sector -- e-bike production.
