The project is lead by Fugro GEOS Ltd which is developing the holistic system, and brings to bear its experience in metocean data and weather forecasting and their application to reducing risk in the marine environment Triskel marine will provide the shipboard data acquistion technology, extending work previously undertaken aboard smaller hybrid power vessels. The Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) will provide expertise in vessel performance and response, and inform the algorithms to be deployed in the vessel routing software.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
