We make use of multiple open and shared data sets and synthetic data across a range of net zero relevant topics (including citizens and communities, geography, transport and carbon emissions) to create a new service that calculates the sum total of emissions for attendee travel to events.

Our technical innovations bring multiple benefits for commercial users, providing replicable and scalable decision making and reporting tools. This is in response to changing market conditions and caters for a growing need, with a strong appetite from end users for a new solution to help solve the identified complex challenge in delivering net zero.

Lead by an interdisciplinary project team comprising leading technologists and experts from ESG, net zero and events, the innovation will help unlock the economic and societal benefits of data, whilst protecting societal values.

We highlight the key points of difference of our technical innovations against the current state of the art, as well as provide detailed information on the challenges we are solving in our specific area of innovation. A group of end users will help guide outputs and address barriers to mainstream use, in order to expedite market adoption.

Our project will provide an innovative new service that helps accelerate the net zero agenda, with the potential for widescale benefits for the UK economy and society, as well as delivering lasting impact for the environment.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
