Dissection of protective responses to heterologous Campylobacter vaccines

Lead Research Organisation: THE PIRBRIGHT INSTITUTE
Department Name: UNLISTED

Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Technical Summary

This project can be defined by the following objectives: 1) to determine whether in vivo expressed transport proteins are a suitable vaccine target; 2) to define whether the efficacy of C.jejuni vaccines is antibody dependent; 3) to define the adjuvant effect of Salmonella vectors; 4) to determine the effect of vaccine virulence on the development of protective responses with heterologous vaccines.
