Results and Impact Over 1000 delegates attended the Anaerobic Digestion & Bioresources Association (ABDA) exhibition in the NEC Birmingham, primarily industry but also some policy related delegates as well as postgrad researchers. We made useful connections with anaerobic digestion plant operators who are interested in a more detailed understanding of the microbial communities in their reactors.

Results and Impact Approximately 30 delegates attended this workshop, organised by Crown Estate Scotland. A series of presentations and open discussions were help, led by the various SeaGas WP leaders. The feedback was very positive and it resulted in a sunbsequent funding application (unsuccessful) and an invitation to present SeaGas to the upcoming International Seaweed Symposium, Jeju, S. Korea
